Dimensionality of networks

As discussed on page 479, if a sufficiently large network has a d-dimensional form, then by following r connections in succession from a given node, one should reach about rd distinct nodes. The plots below show the actual numbers of nodes reached as a function of r for the systems on pages 202 and 203 at steps 1, 10, 20, ..., 200.
